Apple iPhone Makes Last Minute Changes To Allay Consumer Fears
Apple announced today that it expects the iPhone battery to provide up to 8 hours of talk time or 6 hours of internet use. With this announcement, Apple hopes to lay to rest the speculation surrounding poor battery life of iPhone. The hype and buzz around the iPhone continues to grow by the day as the availability date approaches. Apple has announced June 29th, 2007 as the official market date for the iPhone. Many consumers are waiting to get their hands on the first generation of iPhones.
Along with the hype, certain consumers have expressed concerns about the durability of the product. To help allay some of these criticisms, Apple has made some last minute changes to the product. It has upgraded the top surface of the touch-screen to optical quality glass from plastic making it more durable and resistant to scratches. Today's announcement on improved battery life will also go a long way in convincing those resisting the iPhone charm. In addition to the talk time and internet use time, the iPhone battery will support up to 7 hours of video playback and 24 hours of audio playback. How's that for versatility?
