Apple announced today that it expects the iPhone battery to provide up to 8 hours of talk time or 6 hours of internet use. With this announcement, Apple hopes to lay to rest the speculation surrounding poor battery life of iPhone. Along with the hype, certain consumers have expressed concerns about the durability of the product. To help allay some of these criticisms, Apple has made some last minute changes to the product. It has upgraded the top surface of the touch-screen to optical quality glass from plastic making it more durable and resistant to scratches. Today's announcement on improved battery life will also go a long way in convincing those resisting the iPhone charm.
